Review Policy

I enjoy mystery/thriller/suspense, chick lit/romance/rom-coms, YA, literary fiction, historical fiction, contemporary fiction, and women's fiction. I do read the odd biography/autobiography/memoir. If your book falls outside the listed genres, I won't be interested in reviewing.

If you are a publisher, agent, publicist, or author wanting to get a book review, please email girlwellread@gmail.com. Please include a synopsis, genre, approximate length, and when you would like to receive feedback by (of note: I have a full-time job, and a family so I want to be realistic with time frames). An actual book is preferred, as well as an ePub or mobi version. I am also open to author events (in the Toronto area), interviews, blog tours, and hosting giveaways, all of which would also appear on my blog and social media channels.

You will receive, in exchange for a physical copy of the book, an honest review. I love reading and strongly believe in supporting the arts. Please know that I am respectful when it comes to reviewing—even if I don't like your book, it has its audience and will be someone else's taste and I will pretty much leave it at that. That being said, I will not provide an inflated review either. Again, it is an honest review and my opinions that are provided.

Publishers: I am open to employment opportunities—please email me and I can direct you to my LinkedIn profile.

I endeavour to be as timely as I can with responding and I appreciate you reaching out.

Best,

Girl Well Read
